The Login name used to log in Neptun can be changed in the Login name field. Its default value is the Neptun code.
Not all institutes allow to change the Login name.
The Neptun code remains unchanged even after modifying the login name. The institute will use the Neptun code for identification so it is definitely recommended to remember it.
Depending on institutional settings, a nickname can be recorded in the system. Nicknames are primarily used by the Community spaces function, but you can search for a nickname in the user lists, when sending a message or adding someone to a group too.
The profile picture set here is used in the profile menu and in the student list available on the various screens (e.g. students of a course, list of students registered for an exam). The student can choose from the offered options or an image can be uploaded. The image must not infringe copyright, image rights or public taste.
