The tabular requirement describes how the subjects are built on each other, how they are interlinked, while the general requirement examines the conditions in a broader scope. A general requirement can be that a subject can be registered only if the student has no overdue debts. It may happen that the institute defines the interlinking relation of the subjects as general requirement.
Tabular requirements
The prerequisites of subjects may be complex: one subject may require more subjects as prerequisites, with AND/OR condition. The below figure shows that the subject 'Statistics 2' has two prerequisites: Statistics 1 and Applied mathematics 1, and both are accepted with two different subject codes.

General pre-requirements
