The legal relationship of the student with the institute starts with the enrolment, so the newly admitted students enrol in the institute for the first semester.

Beiratkozással kezdődik a hallgatók jogviszonya, tehát az első félévre a képzésre újonnan felvett hallgatók beiratkoznak.

Bejelentkezésről már folyamatban lévő jogviszonnyal rendelkező hallgatók esetében beszélünk, tehát a későbbi félévekre a hallgatók bejelentkeznek (aktív vagy passzív státusszal).

Beiratkozni, vagy bejelentkezni csak akkor lehetséges, ha a képzésen éppen zajló beiratkozási és/vagy bejelentkezési időszak van, és ha a hallgató rendelkezik aktuális félévvel.

Az egyes félévekre történő regisztrációs időszakhoz az intézmény meghatározhat teljesítendő feltételeket, melyek a teljesülés hiányában megakadályozhatják a felhasználót a féléves regisztrációban, ebben az esetben értesítés érkezik beiratkozás és bejelentkezés kísérletekor.

Enrolment or registration is possible only if there is enrolment and/or registration period of the education underway, and the student has an actual semester.

The institute may set forth conditions to the registration period of the semesters. If these are not complied with, the user is not able to register for the semester. That being the case, a notification is sent when the students attempts to enrol or register.

Intézményi beállítástól függően, ha a regisztrációig nem történik tárgyfelvétel, de "Aktív" státusszal szeretne a felhasználó beiratkozni/bejelentkezni a képzésre, akkor a program rákérdez, hogy biztosan folytatja-e a beiratkozási/bejelentkezési folyamatot. 

Passzív félévre regisztrálás esetén (vagy amennyiben aktív státuszról passzívra történik a módosítás) intézményi beállítástól függően szükséges lehet a korábban felvett tantárgyaknak leadása. Eltérő módon rendelkezhet az intézmény a-tekintetben, hogy erre kötelezi a hallgatót, vagy csak felajánlja a lehetőséget, a Neptun ennek megfelelően passzív félévre történő regisztráció esetén, felajánlja a tárgyleadás lehetőségét, vagy pedig a folyamat kötelező elemeként jelenik meg.

A tárgyak csoportos leadásának eredményéről a beiratkozást/bejelentkezést követő előugró tájékoztató ablak is tájékoztat, tételesen kiírva, hogy a sikeres regisztráció mellett mely tárgyak és kurzusok kerültek leadásra

Depending on institutional settings, if no subject registration takes place before the registration, but the user wants to enrol/register with 'Active' status, the student should confirm to continue with the enrolment/registration process. 

In case of a registration for a passive semester (or change from active to passive status), depending on institutional settings, dropping the previously taken subjects might be required. The institutes are entitled to decide whether the student is obliged to drop the subject(s), or only offered this option. Accordingly, Neptun offers the option to drop the subject(s) when registering for a passive semester, or makes this a mandatory element of the process.
