The student can record the contract number of the Student Loan2 on the Student Web Interface, then select the item(s) that he or she would like to finance with Student Loan2. The contract number can be recorded on the Finances/Data and settings/Student Loan2 screen.

Attention! The function of selecting the student loan is not the same as application for a student loan. Selecting the student loan function means that the student records the contract number of the student loan already in progress to an item.

It depends on institutional settings whether the student can record, delete the contract number and whether the Student Loan2 card is available on the Student Web Interface on the Finances/Data and settings screen. A message informs on the screen if the contract number cannot be deleted after recording it.

After the student records the contract number, he or she can assign the previously provided contract number to items of self-support type on the listing screen of To be paid or the details of the Item to be paid. This is described in detail in the section titled Signing up with a student loan.

The student can perform a deletion (if enabled) in two ways.

  1. The contract number can be deleted from the previously selected items on the details screen of the Item to be paid by clicking the red wastebin icon. In this case the system deletes the contract number only form the item in question.
