With predefined conditions, certain institutes allow students to reserve or request the rooms available in the institute for example for student events, project tasks.
Request or reservation?
Institutions can individually regulate which rooms are made available to students and which of these can be reserved directly and which can only be requested for use. The institution may decide not to offer direct reservation, only request can be made.
With the direct reservation the student can immediately reserve the room for him/herself on the web interface.
In case of a request, the administrator decides about the reservation request. The administrator can decide to accept or reject it, or even can offer another room with similar features to the student for the selected interval.
On the screen, from the overview, the student can launch a new reservation or request process with the Continue to the reservation button. The reservations and requests in progress can be viewed in the panels below it.
