Paying partner needs to be recorded when the student requests an invoice for another entity (not himself/herself) for some reason, e.g. study contract. Paying partner can be recorded in three places: Data and settings/Paying partner, details of Item to be paid or details of Paid item by clicking the Assigning a paying partner link during the process.
If the student records the new paying partner on the Data and settings screen, special attention is required to assign the new partner to the item.
The institute may require an administrative check when recording a new paying partner. Some lead time should be expected because of the checking process runs and the administrator endorses the newly recorded paying partner.
The data can be seen on two tabs on the Paying partners screen: Private individuals and Organizations
Here a new private individual or organization can be recorded, existing private individuals or organizations can be modified or an existing private individual or organization can be deleted.
