All polls recorded for the virtual space are displayed in a list in chronological order, in groups as follows:

• Current polls
• More polls

The columns:

• Poll title
• Created by
• Creation time
• Interval - calculated time based on the start of the poll

A new poll can be created with the New button in the top right section of the screen. Only the administrator of the virtual space can create a poll.

The fields appear on 3 tabs on the Create new poll screen.

• Basic data
• Answer options
• Settings

Fields of the Basic data:

• Poll title
• Question

Fields of the Answer options:

• Reply text
• more answers can be recorded, by default 3 are available
• the 'delete' icon next to each answer option deletes the answer

A new answer option is added with the Add new answer button.

Fields of the Settings:

• Poll start (date + time)
• Poll end (date + time)
• Type of answers
• Only one answer can be marked
• Multiple answers can be marked
• Poll type
• Public - anyone can join
• Closed - only members of the community space can vote
• Visibility on sub-levels
• Checkbox of Do not be available in the linked community spaces
  
  

The creation of the poll can be finalized with the Save button.

An action window appears at the bottom of the screen after the link is selected in the list, where the … can be deleted.

The page containing the details of the poll appear in a popup window by clicking the Details link in the list of the polls.

• Answer options - list of answer options (in alphabetical order)
• Poll start
• Final date of closure
• Creation time
• Created by
• Type of answers
• Poll type

Operations on the screen:

Edit

Only the administrator of the virtual space is authorised for this function if he or she is the creator of the poll at the same time.

The structure of the Edit poll screen is the same as that of Create new poll screen.

Delete

Only the administrator of the virtual space is authorised for this function if he or she is the creator of the poll at the same time.

Delete funcion works only if no vote was cast yet.

Cast a vote

It can be used to cast a vote, and is visible only if the actual date is between the start and end date of the poll.

Modify a vote-it is visible only if the actual date is between the start and end date of the poll.

View results

The results of the poll can be viewed with it. It is visible only if the actual date is after the start date of the poll.

The administrator as well as the members are authorised to view the result of the poll.
