The screen where a message can be written appears after clicking the Send message button. The tutor(s) linked to the thesis is (are) automatically selected as recipient(s). Further recipients can be added by clicking the XXX icon on the right side of the Recipients field. The student can enter the subject and write the message as well as attach documents in this window. By clicking the Advanced settings link, the validity period – depending on institutional settings – of the message can be set, and it can be defined whether the recipients can see each other in the received message. The message can be sent with the Send button.
