Panopto is accessible from the Panopto element of the Home screen. The Continue to the Panopto system button opens the dashboard of Panopto where the user has access to the Panopto folder of the given virtual space, and the linked Panopto folders, if applicable, of a Course type virtual space.
The link functions only if the administrator has created the context in Panopto.
Panopto
One of today's most popular and widely used educational class recording and video content management platforms is Panopto. It can be used to enhance both synchronous and asynchronous online education in the institute, thanks to its recording and live video capabilities. It can also be used for home or classroom recording/use by lecturers, making it an optimal solution for today's hybrid (semi-online, semi-presence) education, in addition to the fully online education.
Panopto is also available integrated in the Neptun system, and the video files used for teaching can be linked to a subject, course or even 'other' type of virtual space in the educational system, and can be accessed directly from there.
On the web, the "Panopto" menu item under "Information" menu item on the studies page allows users to access the Panopto folders linked to virtual spaces from one single menu item.
The virtual space - Panopto connections appear on the screens, where the student is a member of the virtual space (student web).
ATTENTION! The use of Panopto in Neptun is subject to a licence and authorisation, the options on the screen will only appear in Neptun if the institute uses it and holds the required licence.
Jogosultság kezelés Panopto felé
A Neptun - Panopto kapcsolathoz úgynevezett LTI kommunikációt használ a rendszer, mellyel lehetőség van autentikáció nélkül átléptetni a felhasználót a Neptunból a Panoptoba, ráadásul megfelelő jogosultsággal. A virtuális tér adminisztrátora szerkesztő/feltöltő (creator) jogosultsággal, a hallgató, aki a virtuális térnek nem adminisztrátora, megtekintő (viewer) jogosultsággal kerül beléptetésre a Neptunból a Panoptoba.
A Panopto url a webes felületeken minden esetben megjelenik a felhasználók számára. Azonban ha az adott virtuális térhez hiányzik a rendszerben található megfelelő konfigurációs beállítás, erről visszajelző üzenetben/gomb fölé húzva az egeret, tooltipben tájékoztat a program.
Fontos azonban, hogy a konfigurációs beállításoktól függetlenül sem funkcionál minden esetben a Panopto url. Az LTI –s kommunikáció sajátosságából fakadóan tag/vendég tagság típusú felhasználók csak akkor tudnak kilépni a Panopto oldalra, ha azon az oldalon már létrejött a virtuális térhez tartozó Panopto kontextus. Ez a kontextus azt a strukturált mappát jelenti, ami által a felhasználónak értelmesen használhatóvá válik a Panopto mappa. Ez akkor kerül létrehozásra, amikor a virtuális tér adminisztrátora a mappa url-jére kattint.
Publikus virtuális tereknél, nem csak a virtuális tér admin/tag felhasználóinak kerül megjelenítésre a Panopto link, hanem mindenkinek (az ilyen se nem tag, se nem admin hozzáférők a vendégek, nekik a Panopto felé viewerként biztosítja a program a Panopto belépést).
