The Start an application button redirects the user to the Current periods screen on the Studies/External practice screen. Here the valid external field practice periods are displayed.
The Current periods screen displays the name of the period, the interval of the registration period and the number of the subjects that can be registered.
Selecting the Details option, a list appears where the external field practice subjects of the periods are displayed.
On this screen the name of the external field practice subjects, the type of interruption, the number of the minimum weeks are displayed. If registration for the given subject has already taken place, the status of the registration is also shown: Registered, Finalized, Accepted.
If the checkbox of the Registered subjects is selected, only the already registered subjects are displayed. By default this checkbox is not selected.
By clicking the Details option in the row of the subject, the system redirects the user to the subject registration screen where primarily the details of the subject can be viewed.

The subject registration can be launched in the Practice locations block by selecting the external field practice location belonging to the field practice subject. If the location the student wants to register for cannot be found among the field practice locations, the location can be created by clicking the New location button.
The field practice locations screen displays the name, type and city of the field practice locations, and the communication language.
Registration for the external field practice location can be performed by clicking the Registration option.
The period blocks for which the registration can be submitted can be found on the screen in the field practice periods of the location.
The institute can define the field practice periods of the location, registration is exclusively allowed for the (generally week-based) blocks specified by the institute.
The information on the interruption is displayed above the blocks during the registration.
After selecting the period blocks and clicking the Saving applications button, the registration for the field practice subject is performed. The system sends notification if it is successfully done.
It depends on the types of the external field practice locations, how many days before the starting date of the given block the student can register for the given block last. The institute can freely define the Application deadline, and it is also the deadline for the finalization process.
If the student tries to register for a block for which registration is not possible because of the set time limit, a notification appears in the Block that the registration period is already over.

| The system takes into account the maximum number of weeks and the maximum number of interruptions set by the institute (in case of the maximum number of interruptions, the type of the interruption is also taken into account, so in accordance with the institutional settings, interruptions can occur placewise and timewise both), so if the student exceed the maximum number of weeks during the registration, it will be unsuccessful, and the system sends a notification about the reason for the failure. |
The student can complete an external field practice place - at the discretion of the insitute - during a longer interval or in several shorter intervals. So the student can select the same location from the list of the field practice locations if he or she wants to register for it with different intervals.
The individual blocks belonging to the field practice locations are also connected to periods, so it may happen that the system displays the given block as registered for a certain week (period), and the same block can be registered for another period, if registration periods run parallelly.
The registered locations for the given subject can be viewed in the My submitted applications block.
In the My submitted applications block the columns display the name of the field practice locations, information on the planned and accepted intervals and the status of the registration for the registered field practice locations.
More detailed information of the registered field practice location is available by clicking the Details option.
If there is a registration for a field practice subject for a given external field practice location, for a given block (week), no registration is possible for another location of the given subject for the same interval, either from another subject! The status of the block (week) changes after saving the registration (in the planning phase), the student cannot register for the same or other field practice subject for a period in the same interval. This is displayed for the given blocks: You have a registration already for other subject!

A Tanulmányok/Külső szakmai gyakorlatok menüponton a Jelentkezés indítása gombbal lehet az Aktuális időszakok felületre navigálni. ahol megjelenítésre kerülnek az érvényes külső gyakorlati időszakok.
Az Aktuális időszakok felületen az időszak neve, a jelentkezési időszak intervalluma és az időszakban felvehető tárgyak számossága jelenik meg.
A Részletek lehetőséget választva egy listás felület jelenik meg, ahol az időszakokhoz kapcsolódó külső gyakorlati tárgyak kerülnek megjelenítésre.
A felületen megjelenítésre kerül a külső gyakorlati tárgyak neve, megszakítás típusa, minimum hetek száma. Ha az adott tárgyra már történt jelentkezés, akkor a jelentkezés státusza is megjelenítésre kerül: Jelentkezett, Véglegesített, Elfogadott.
A Jelentkezett tárgyak jelölőnégyzetet bepipálva, már csak a jelentkezett tárgyak kerülnek megjelenítésre. Alapértelmezetten a jelölőnégyzet üres.
A tárgyjelentkezéses felületre a tárgy sorában található Részletek lehetőségre kattintva jutunk el, ahol elsősorban megtekinthető a tárgy részletes adatai:

A tárgyjelentkezés elindításához a felületen található Gyakorlati helyszínek blokkban van lehetőség, a gyakorlati tárgyhoz tartozó külső gyakorlati helyszín kiválasztásával. Abban az esetben, ha a gyakorlati helyszínek között nem található meg az a helyszín, amelyre a jelentkezni akar, akkor az Új helyszín hozzáadása gombra kattintva létrehozható a helyszín.
A felvehető gyakorlati helyeknél a sorokban a gyakorlati helyek neve, típusa, városa és a kommunikáció nyelve jelenik meg.
A külső gyakorlati helyszín kiválasztása a Jelentkezés lehetőségre kattintva lehetséges.
A felületen a helyszín gyakorlati időszakainál található azok az időszak blokkok amelyre a jelentkezést leadhatja.
A helyszín gyakorlati időszakait az intézmény határozza meg, a jelentkezés kizárólag az intézmény által meghatározott (általában heti alapú) blokkokra történhet.
Jelentkezés során a megszakításra vonatkozó információ a blokkok felett kijelzésre kerül.
Az időszak blokkok kijelölése után a Jelentkezések mentése gombra kattintva megtörténik a gyakorlati tárgyra való jelentkezés, melynek sikerességéről értesítést küld a program.
Külső gyakorlati hely típusoktól függ, hogy az adott blokk kezdő időpontja előtt hány nappal jelentkezhet utoljára a hallgató az adott blokkra. A Jelentkezési határidőt az intézmény szabadon állíthatja és a véglegesítési folyamatra is vonatkozik.
Amennyiben olyan blokkra szeretne jelentkezni, melyre a beállított idő korlátnak megfelelően nem lehetséges a Blokkban kijelzésre kerül, hogy lejárt jelentkezés.

| Az intézményileg beállított maximum hetek számát és maximum megszakíthatóságot figyelembe veszi a program (a maximum megszakíthatóságnál figyeli a beállított megszakítás típust is, tehát az intézményi beállításoknak megfelelően térben és időben is történhet megszakítás), ezért ha jelentkezéskor túllépi a maximum számokat, a mentés sikertelen lesz, visszajelző üzenetben tájékoztatást fog kapni a sikertelenség okáról. |
Külső gyakorlati helyet intézményi döntés szerint egy nagyobb idő intervallumban, vagy több kisebb gyakorlati idő részletben is teljesíthet. Így a gyakorlati helyek listából ugyanazt a helyet akár többször is kiválaszthatja, ha eltérő intervallumokkal szeretne jelentkezni.
Az egyes gyakorlati helyekhez tartozó blokkok időszakhoz is kapcsolódnak, így előfordulhat, hogy párhuzamosan zajló jelentkezési időszakoknál ugyanarra a hétre (blokkra) az egyik időszak felől már jelentkezett, a másik időszakban azonban még felvehetőnek jelzi a program az adott blokkot.
A Leadott jelentkezéseim blokk alatt az adott tárgyra vonatkozó jelentkezési helyei tekinthetők meg.
A leadott jelentkezéseim blokkban a felvett gyakorlati helyeknél a sorokban a gyakorlati helyek neve, a tervezett és elfogadott intervallum információk és a jelentkezés státusza kerül kijelzésre az oszlopokban.
A felvett gyakorlati hely bővebb adatai a Részletek lehetőségre kattintva érhető el.
Amennyiben már van jelentkezés egy gyakorlati tárgyból egy adott külső gyakorlati helyre, adott blokkra (hétre), akkor ugyanerre az időpontra már nem lehetséges jelentkezni adott tárgyból másik helyre és másik tárgyból sem! A blokk (hét) státusza ilyenkor a jelentkezés mentését követően (még tervezési fázisban) megváltozik, már nem jelentkezhet ugyanezen intervallumban található időpontra sem ugyanabból, sem más gyakorlati tárgyból. Ez az adott blokkoknál kijelzésre kerül: Más tárgyból van már jelentkezése!

Miután a jelentkezés megtörtént a kívánt gyakorlati helyekre, utána külön szükséges a Finalize applications is.
